Step 4: Thinking About Diet and Exercise (1.3 hours)
Originally, the course promised to include a quick overview of the ADHD research in these two areas.
Then I discovered, after poring over many tedious research papers, that the research says very little! So, I changed the focus a bit to:
—Research highlights and limitations (exercise and nutrition)
—The overall benefits of healthy habits to health and brain function of healthy habits.
— Why nutritional deficiencies can adversely affect medication results.
—The difficulty that ADHD genetics might create in absorbing key minerals (e.g. iron and calcium) and Omega Fatty Acids, too.
Then a guest expert, Coach Mack, will walk you through:
Simplifying Your Approach to Exercise
Learning How to "Stack" New Habits onto Existing ones.
